Teaching Across Cultures
This week marks our final workshop—an intense three-day course with 25 teachers and parents from a single school. Their eagerness to learn is humbling and inspiring. Despite language barriers and cultural nuances that sometimes shift the meaning of even simple English words, these educators don’t reject unfamiliar ideas. Instead, they voice their concerns, and together, we find solutions.
It’s a beautiful reminder that collaboration doesn’t require perfect understanding—just mutual respect and a shared goal.
We covered in three days what took three weeks in Kayonza, and what would span several semesters in a Canadian university. It’s was a lot.
Each session was wrapped in prayer, and our prayer team continued to lift us up daily. We trust that God knows what He’s doing—and we’re just here to follow.
