Every child and teacher at the Channel of Hope Ability Center has the determination—they just need the tools. Whether an individual student earns $5 through household chores or a whole classroom works together to raise funds, every contribution fuels joy, growth, and independence in rural Rwanda!

1. Local Supply Drop-Off (Packable Items)

🧳 Luggage Note for Donors: Our team carries these items directly to Rwanda in our travel luggage! Please stick to lightweight items that pack flat or deflate easily. Please no books, paper notebooks, or heavy printed materials due to strict airline weight limits.

​

• School & Art Supplies: Whiteboard markers & erasers, pens, pencils, pencil crayons, pencil sharpeners, erasers, crayons, washable/water-soluble markers, safety scissors, and playdough.

​

• Sports & Play Equipment: Deflated junior basketballs, deflated soccer balls, hand air pumps with needles, replacement basketball nets, and portable soccer goal nets.

2. Cash Donation & Team Challenge Tiers

Want to see what your hard work can make possible? Cash donations are pooled together so every dollar goes directly where it is needed most at our campus—from daily learning supplies to custom therapy equipment.

Here is a look at what your individual or group efforts help fund:

Individual & Family Tiers ($5 – $30)

• $5 - Can buy 10 student notebooks or 1 storybook purchased locally in Rwanda.

​

• $15  - Can buy a can of weather-resistant outdoor paint for our campus.

​

• $30 - Can buy specialized communication cards for a non-verbal student.

​

Classroom & Team Tiers ($50 – $350+)

Great for student councils, sports teams, youth groups, or entire grade levels working together!

​

• $50 Goal: Helps fund playground equipment like an outdoor basketball backboard or soccer net.

​

• $100 Goal: Helps fund specialized therapy equipment, such as a custom-built physical therapy balance beam for rehabilitation sessions.

​

• $350 Goal: Helps fund major campus installations, like a permanent outdoor soccer goal frame.

​

• $500+ Goal: Helps fully equip and maintain an entire classroom with learning materials, adaptive tools, and play equipment for a term.
