As we close out this year, we pause to look back with gratitude at all that God has accomplished through your generosity. What a year it has been!
🏫 A New Home for Learning
We purchased land in Kayonza—accessible for all children.
On this land, we now have a chicken coop, and our sewing cooperative building is nearly complete, set to open in January.
Most exciting of all, we raised funds to build a new school with room for 40 students! Thanks to our donors, it will be fully furnished, and after Christmas break, children will finally learn in a safe, weather-protected environment.

📚 Empowering Teachers
This summer, we hosted seminars for 48 teachers in Kayonza and 25 in Kigali.
These teachers are now equipped to welcome children with mild disabilities—students they previously didn’t know how to teach.
Every child in their classrooms is benefiting from these new methods.
We plan to return in 2026 to continue building on these skills.
👩🏫 Celebrating Our Teachers
We bid farewell to our beloved teacher Alice, who has moved on to a new career with her family. We wish her every blessing in this new chapter.
We joyfully welcomed Egidia, who has already won the hearts of our students and is thriving in her new role.
🌱 Stories of Transformation
Your support has changed lives. Just look at these three students:
Elizabeth: Once shy and withdrawn, Elizabeth would often sit silently in the corner of the classroom, avoiding eye contact and struggling to connect with her peers. Today, she is a vibrant, outgoing girl who laughs and plays with her friends. She has learned valuable life skills, helping her mother with laundry and cleaning at home. Her transformation is a testimony to the power of love, patience, and education.

Kenny: Kenny was full of energy but often ran away from home, leaving his parents worried and searching for him daily. School was not a place he wanted to be. Now, Kenny eagerly takes his seat in class, proud to show off his ability to read and count to 10. He has embraced responsibility, taking on regular chores at home. His joy in learning and newfound stability have brought peace to his family and hope for his future.

Giza: Giza’s childhood was marked by tragedy when an accident left him with brain damage, paralysis on his left side, and blindness in his left eye. Bullied and rejected, he refused to attend school and grew angry, often fighting with other children. Today, Giza is a different boy—confident, happy, and surrounded by friends. He helps with laundry and sweeping at home and is relearning to use his left hand. His courage and resilience inspire everyone around him.

These stories are living proof that sponsorship transforms despair into hope.
🙏 Looking Ahead
We have accomplished so much this year, but there is still more to do:
Additional small outbuildings are needed.
Most urgently, we need more sponsors to welcome the many students still waiting for a chance at education.
For just $60 per month, you can change a life—just like Kenny, Elizabeth, or Giza.
