A dream taking shape in Kayonza

For years, we've carried a dream in our hearts—a dream to build a special needs preschool in Kayonza for children who have nowhere else to go. A place where they would be welcomed, understood, and given the chance to learn and grow in safety.

But honestly? There were moments when that dream felt impossible.The funding seemed out of reach.The paperwork felt endless.Approvals and accreditation required more patience than we thought we had.Obstacle after obstacle made us wonder: Will this ever happen?

And then… God made a way.

Through His faithfulness—and through people like you—we were able to purchase land right in the center of Kayonza. The district approved it for our school, and last week, something incredible happened: construction on our very first three-room schoolhouse began!

If everything goes as planned, the building will be completed by the end of December. Right after Christmas break, our students will walk into a brand-new school built just for them—a safe, accessible place where they can learn, be celebrated, and thrive.

We will have space for up to 40 students.Forty lives changed.Forty families given hope.Forty children who will finally belong somewhere.

But as we look ahead with joy, we also know that opening the doors is only the beginning.

Many of these children come from families who simply cannot afford school fees, supplies, lunches, or transportation. To make this dream sustainable, we are praying for sponsors—people who feel called to support a child’s education, their daily meals, and the teachers who make this ministry possible.
